Buffalo Grove High School is seeking a strong, student-centered leader and role model to serve as our Head Girls Gymnastics coach for the 2026�2027 school year. This position plays an important role in delivering an exceptional high school experience within a diverse, supportive, and equity-focused school community.

The Head Coach for Girls Gymnastics leads all aspects of the program, including long-term planning, daily operations, and alignment across all levels. The coach is responsible for creating a competitive and developmentally sound program that supports student-athletes both on and off the field.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for the entire Girl's Swim program.
- Organize and oversee practices, competitions, and team events.
- Develop and manage the program budget and equipment.
- Recruit, support, and evaluate assistant coaches.
- Coordinate with school administration, the athletic department, and booster organizations.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, community members, and media outlets.
- Plan and supervise off-season opportunities, camps, clinics, and summer programming.

- Establishes strong communication with the athletic department for practice, match, and invite needs.
- Encourages multi-sport participation and creates an atmosphere conducive to our athletes' participation in other sports.
- Creates program philosophies that are consistently executed and transparent to athletes and parents.
- Establishes direct lines of communication with the community, parents, players, and the administration.
- Fosters an engaging, positive atmosphere of discipline and accountability.
- Fosters a culture of support and leadership to help student-athletes grow and develop on and off the field of play.
- Demonstrates the ability and experience to increase the knowledge, skills, and expertise of athletes in all phases of the sport.
- Participates in the budgeting process with the Athletic Director.
Qualifications
- ISBE or ASEP certification required.
- Previous head coaching experience at any level or varsity-level coordinating experience preferred.
