Assistant Site Coordinator
Job Description
POSITION TITLE: After School Program Site Coordinator-Site To Be Determined
5 Hours a Day
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must be able to successfully direct, supervise, and manage After School Program (ASP) activities, staff, students, and financial records. Present activity plans for parents to view. Supervise the keeping of an orderly, clean facility by staff and students. Accurately complete records, reports, time sheets, and bank deposits. Order nutritious snacks. Serve as liaison between After School Program and parents, school staff, other school personnel, and the community. Must be able to relate to school age children, their parents and school staff. Qualify for CPR and first aid certification. Perform any other duties assigned by the After School Program Coordinator.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING:
Minimum high school diploma or GED.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Proficiency required in oral and written communications, supervision of staff and students; public relations with school and community; accounting for funds, ordering and inventory of supplies; scheduling of activities, students and staff; accurately completing reports and records.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Be willing to attend any training/staff development as required or requested by the ASP Coordinator or school system.
THREE (3) YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN ASSISTANT SITE COORDINATOR PREFERRED. Successful experience with school age children in an education, recreational or similar program.
