
Teacher Aide for Summer 2026 - Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs
Job Description
This is a temporary, casual/seasonal, Teacher Aide - Special Education position for the 2026 Summer School Program supporting Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs.
REQUIREMENTS: Individuals must possess a Service Paraeducator Permit issued by the Delaware Department of Education (DEDOE). To qualify for the Service Paraeducator Permit, you must hold a hold a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent.
Applicants external to the Caesar Rodney School District will be hired as temporary, casual/seasonal employees.
Summer School 2026 will be held from July 7, 2026 - August 3, 2026. The program will run Monday - Thursday only. NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAYS
*There will be two In-service Days: July 6, 2026 (full day) and August 4, 2026 (half day)
Summer School Hours:
- CRCWP Student Hours - 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- CRCWP Staff Hours - 7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
SALARY: Individuals will be paid $20.40/hr and will be paid only for hours worked. Temporary, casual/seasonal employees are not eligible for leave or other benefits.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
