Program Coordinator II - Community Preschool - 26/27 SY

Job Description: This position is a Community Preschool Program Coordinator II working in a multi-aged classroom with 3 - 5 year olds (not yet in kindergarten). Duties include: developing age appropriate lesson plans based upon the Arizona Early Learning Standards, inventorying and ordering materials and supplies, developing and scheduling daily children's activities, communicating information to parents through memos and newsletters, supervising and evaluating Club Leaders and Instructional Assistants. Applicant must have availability between 6:30am - 6:30pm.

Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years' experience in a childcare setting or, based upon assignment, completion of specific coursework related to childcare or experience working in a licensed childcare program is required; or 2 years of specialized experience related to the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Project based experience required. Valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Employment Information: 26/27 School Year; 40 hours per week (non-exempt); 196 days

Salary: Band B 23 - $22.02/hr entry level
