About the Role

The International HR Business Partner supports our operations across Europe and Asia, serving as both a strategic partner and a hands-on HR leader. This role works closely with global leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals while ensuring compliance with local employment laws. Key responsibilities include employee relations, engagement, payroll coordination, benefits administration, talent development, and overall HR operations.

This position supports Non-U.S. locations including the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Poland, Spain, India, and Singapore. The ideal candidate has experience working with U.S.-based organizations, strong business acumen, and a proactive approach. This person must be able to manage day-to-day HR activities while also contributing to long-term people strategies.

This role is based in the UK and reports to the HR Director in the United States.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to international leadership, delivering both strategic and operational HR guidance.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives.
  • Manage cross-border employment matters, including expatriate assignments.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies across multiple countries.
  • Oversee absence management, occupational health processes, and compliance audits.

Talent & Employee Lifecycle

  • Lead the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding.
  • Ensure consistent, compliant HR practices across all international locations.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll

  • Drive compensation programs, including salary benchmarking and merit planning.
  • Partner with Finance and external providers to support payroll and benefits administration.
  • Ensure competitive, compliant benefits programs across regions.

Performance & Development

  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting and annual reviews.
  • Support leadership development, employee engagement, and succession planning initiatives.

HR Operations & Analytics

  • Maintain accurate HR data in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP), ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.
  • Deliver HR metrics, insights, and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Continuously improve HR processes and employee experience.

Travel

  • Up to 25% international travel, plus periodic travel to the U.S.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 7–10 years of progressive HR experience in a multinational and/or European environment
  • Deep expertise in employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and leader coaching
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen with excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills; ability to foster trust and create a safe, inclusive environment
  • Experience with HRIS systems and workforce analytics tools (Workday and ADP preferred)
  • Solid working knowledge of employment laws across Europe and key international markets (e.g., Singapore, India)
  • Multilingual capabilities (English required; Spanish and Dutch highly preferred)
  • Experience working within a U.S.-based public company and matrixed global organization strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
