Part-time Summer Custodians - Hutchinson, MN

Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking Part-time Custodians to join our team for the summer of 2026.

Summer custodians will assist full-time staff in deep cleaning all classrooms, hallways, and offices. Walls, surfaces, furniture, and floors will be cleaned. Custodians move furniture into hallways to allow full room and floor cleaning.

Openings are available at West/Tiger Elementary, Park Elementary, the Middle School and the High School. This position will work 30 hours per week, Monday - Thursday from June 8, 2026 - August 29, 2026. Hours per day may vary. The salary range for this position is $18.80 per hour. Benefits may include sick leave and a retirement plan with employer contribution. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to positively communicate with staff, students and others
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including cleaning instructions
