We are recruiting for a Delegating Nurse to manage care for a youth residential care community. Duties include:
- Assessing the ability of residents to self-medicate
- Overseeing and supervising medication administration for facility staff.
- Ensuring adherence to applicable state and federal medication management regulations.
- Conducting periodic evaluations for residents who self-medicate.
- Delivering required in-service training, skills assessments, and competency verification to staff.
A few must-haves for Registered Nurses:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Maryland
- Case Manager/Delegating Manager (CM/DM) certification is a must
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
- Clean criminal record
