Hiring Procedures
To maintain eligibility for an ESY assignment the employee must be under contract for the 2025-2026 & eligible for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must submit an online ESY application no later than 3/6/26. Only completed online applications will be considered for ESY assignments. An interview panel will consist of district administrators and staff, who will collaborate on the selection of all ESY positions.

ESY employment is contingent upon return of a signed contract for the 2026-2027 school year. Any offer of ESY employment could be revoked if a signed 2026-2027 contract is not returned to Human Resources by the specified deadline.

Candidate notification of ESY assignments will be made beginning in April 2026.

Paraprofessional/Support Staff Commitment (dates and times may be subject to change)
Date Task
May 29th - Report to Ed & Verma Pastor for staff meeting, classroom & lesson preparation
June 1st� 18th (Mon � Thurs) - Support classroom instruction aligned to Individual Education Plans and provide students assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
 

ESS Paraprofessional/Support Staff Compensation
You will be compensated at the district-approved stipend schedule. The total compensation reflects 12 instructional days for up to 5 hours each day plus additional hours for staff meeting, classroom and lesson preparation. 
 

ESY Program Times

• ESS Teachers & Staff 7:30am � 12:30pm
• Students 8:00am � 12:00pm
