Food & Nutrition Services Supervisor

Team Wake is seeking a Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) Supervisor that brings with them leadership skills and strong FNS policy knowledge and experience. This role provides supervision and administrative oversight of the daily activities of case managers and clerical staff, and works closely with the FNS Program Manager. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and direct eligibility caseworkers who determine eligibility for Food Nutrition Services Ensure benefits are issued accurately and on time in accordance with established policies and procedures Set team and individual goals, review casework, recruit train staff Interpret policy for staff or request state clarification when necessary Monitor employee casework regularly to maintain accuracy and compliance Provide training on policy updates and assist with client concerns and public inquiries Plan and set direction to meet program and agency outcomes Ensure all federal, state, and county deadlines are met and that benefits are distributed correctly and promptly
