Correctional Officer - Every Other Weekend Off

This position is also eligible for lateral transfer. Years of service working in corrections will laterally transfer as if the applicant worked those years for the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office. Hourly wage and vacation balance will be determined based on the applicant’s current years of service.

Under the general direction of the Correctional Sergeant. Responsible for the maintenance of security and order of inmates in a county correctional environment. Provides effective delivery of correctional services for his/her assigned area of responsibility. Ensures the enforcement of federal and state laws, as well as the observance of jail rules and regulations.
