Marketing Specialist (m/f/d) – Friction & Rubber Group

The Friction & Rubber Group is a global leader in friction and elastomer solutions for the rail industry as well as for industrial and powersports applications. Our products are used in safety‑critical environments by nearly all major rail operators and vehicle manufacturers worldwide and stand for quality, reliability, and strong technological performance.

An essential part of the Friction organization is its Green and Blue Friction solutions. These specially developed friction materials play a key role in reducing particulate emissions, improving air quality—particularly in urban rail environments—and combining sustainability with the highest safety and performance standards.

Your role

As Marketing Specialist, you support and partially drive the global marketing activities of the Friction & Rubber product portfolio. Working closely with Sales, Engineering and Communications, you contribute to product positioning, marketing materials and go‑to‑market activities in an international Product Line environment.

Your responsibilities

• Support and help drive global marketing initiatives for the Product Line

• Contribute to value propositions, product positioning and key messaging

• Create and maintain marketing and sales enablement materials

• Support product launches and portfolio communication activities

• Conduct market and competitor analyses

• Support trade fairs, customer events and internal marketing initiatives

• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams

Your profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a comparable field

• Several years of professional marketing experience (B2B or industrial environment preferred)

• Strong interest in technology, mobility and sustainability topics

• Structured, proactive working style with good communication skills

• Experience in cross‑functional and/or international collaboration is a plus

• Fluent English required
