Job Description
B+P Building Engineering (UK&I) is arranged into national discipline specific operating units: MEP, Structures, Civils, Sustainability and Specialisms. Operational support to these Operating Units is a key aspect to maintaining the ability of these teams to deliver against the needs of our clients.
We are seeking to appoint Operating Unit Administrators within the Building Engineering Business Unit (B+P) to work closely with operating unit leaders to maintain accurate sources of revenue data, provide bid support for opportunities up to $500k NSR, and deliver effective administrative support to operating unit leadership.
This role is for a proactive individual with strong knowledge of software systems including Salesforce and Coupa and willing to learn processes such as Sources of Revenue forecasting (R18).
The role requires effective collaboration across the operating unit to deliver required outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and up to date sources of revenue data, ensuring alignment with business reporting and forecasting requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for opportunity logging and updates, ensuring opportunities are recorded consistently and in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with the Performance Manager and Capture Manager to support continuous improvement in opportunity management.
• Regularly and routinely monitor and maintain the quality and accuracy of the sources of revenue data, through regular communications with PM’s, Capture Managers, Performance Managers and OUL’s.
Bid support
• Support bid and pursuit activities up to $500k NSR by preparing high quality submission materials, following established templates, processes, and quality standards, working collaboratively with the Major Pursuits Team’s Building Engineering representative.
• Ensure bid content, CVs, and case studies are correctly formatted, version controlled, and compliant with internal requirements. Work to ensure this bidding material is maintained and up to date during periods of not bidding.
• Provide standard company information and source initial content from previous bids and collateral
• Work collaboratively with the OUL and B+P Pursuits team to support continuous improvement in bid management processes.
• Support leaders with travel bookings and expense processing, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Raise purchase order requests via Coupa, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and supporting documentation is in place.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, collaborative approach are essential, along with a good understanding of bid management principles and processes.
Qualifications
GCSE in English and Maths
Proficiency in Microsoft applications is required, with working knowledge of InDesign or PDF editor desirable.
