Overview
This marketing role will own content publishing operations within Builder (LegalZoom’s CMS) and drive strategic outreach initiatives to support content partnerships and link acquisition. The ideal candidate combines strong CMS execution skills with experience in outreach, affiliate partnerships, and authority-building programs.
Key Responsibilities
Content Publishing & CMS Management (Builder)
- Publish, format, and QA content within Builder (LegalZoom’s CMS)
- Ensure content accuracy, proper tagging, linking, schema, and on-page SEO best practices
- Conduct quality assurance checks across live pages to maintain brand and compliance standards
- Partner with SEO, Content, Legal, and Product teams to operationalize content updates efficiently
- Maintain publishing workflows, documentation, and CMS best practices
- Troubleshoot formatting, linking, and technical content issues within Builder
- Monitor content health and escalate technical or structural issues as needed
Content Partnerships & Link Acquisition
- Identify and execute outreach opportunities to support link acquisition and authority-building initiatives
- Build relationships with relevant publishers, partners, and industry sites
- Support affiliate and partnership-driven content distribution efforts
- Track outreach performance, link placements, and partnership ROI
- Collaborate with SEO and Content teams to align outreach strategy with priority themes and campaigns
- Maintain outreach pipelines and reporting dashboards
You have:
- 3–6+ years in content marketing, SEO, or digital marketing operations
- Hands-on experience managing and publishing content within a CMS (Builder experience strongly preferred)
- Experience conducting link outreach, affiliate partnerships, or digital PR campaigns
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for formatting and troubleshooting content within a CMS.
- Detail-oriented with strong QA instincts
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in legal, financial, or high-trust content categories
- Ability to translate design specifications into functional CMS components using HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional marketing organization
- Experience in sales, guest posting, or content partnership development is a plus
