Associate Manager, Marketplace Seller Support – Fulfillment

As the Marketplace Seller Support Associate Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a high performing, compliant, and customer centric seller ecosystem within our marketplace. You will focus on setting and monitoring seller performance standards, managing escalations, and providing operational support to both sellers and internal teams, with added emphasis on optimizing seller fulfillment capabilities to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable shipping experiences for customers. The position combines process optimization, compliance oversight, proactive issue resolution, and fulfillment performance improvement to maintain marketplace integrity and deliver exceptional seller and buyer experiences. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, operational excellence, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team, and the recruiter or hiring manager will provide additional details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do
  • Own seller fulfillment configuration quality, ensuring sellers’ shipping settings inclusive of handling times, transit mappings, cutoff times, and carrier settings are accurately configured to support fast and reliable delivery promises.
  • Partner with seller account managers and product teams to educate sellers on best in class fulfillment settings, proactively remediate sellers with poor promise date performance, and surface feedback to inform future feature enhancements
  • Responsible for monitoring marketplace transactions and operational health metrics to ensure proper processing of orders and timely support for customers; includes management of seller suspensions and/or terminations to ensure overall platform health.
  • Triage any identified issues with respective Best Buy operational/technical teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Oversee quality assurance of marketplace including reviewing seller performance against agreed upon service agreements and working with respective seller account managers to manage performance as necessary.
  • Oversee program compliance to policies and procedures by monitoring seller reviews, customer messaging, catalog content and reviewing test buys with fraud and legal teams.

Basic qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in marketplace operations, e-commerce support, third party seller operations, vendor operations, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience monitoring operational or performance-based metrics
  • 1+ year of experience in supply chain or fulfillment focused on product delivery
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred qualifications
  • 2 years of experience supporting or managing third‑party marketplace sellers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Shopify)
  • Background in seller performance management, compliance monitoring, or policy enforcement
  • Familiarity with fraud review processes or legal/compliance partnerships within an e‑commerce environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work and influence cross-functional teams to drive positive business outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
