This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in embedding clarity, alignment, and momentum across a large, diverse organisation operating in Sub-Saharan Africa, with direct exposure to senior leadership in a fast-evolving, collaborative environment.
The Opportunity:
You will lead the design and execution of an integrated communication strategy anchored in the programme achieving defined and ambitious Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)—translating complex change agendas into clear, compelling, and actionable narratives that mobilise stakeholders across multiple geographies and cultures.
This role may require travel across East and West Africa to ensure meaningful engagement and localisation of communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead High-Impact Communication Campaigns
- Design and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, understanding, and behavioural shift.
- Oversee a sophisticated communication ecosystem including executive town halls, leadership cascades, micro-content strategies, and digital engagement platforms.
- Drive Behavioural Change Through Insight-Led Messaging
- Apply behavioural science and audience segmentation to craft targeted messaging that reduces resistance, builds trust, and drives adoption.
- Ensure communications resonate across diverse, cross-cultural audiences in a Sub-Saharan African context.
- Create Best-in-Class Content
- Deliver high-quality, multi-format materials (executive scripts, FAQs, playbooks, video content, dashboards) tailored to different stakeholder groups, personas and learning preferences.
- Ensure messaging is consistent, engaging, and aligned across all channels.
- Enable and Elevate Leadership Communication
- Equip executives and senior leaders with world-class communication toolkits, including talking points, narrative frameworks, and guidance for navigating complex or sensitive conversations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on communication strategy and positioning.
- Measure, Learn, and Optimise
- Establish robust feedback loops (pulse surveys, readiness assessments, analytics) to evaluate impact.
- Continuously refine communication strategies based on data-driven insights to maximise engagement and effectiveness.

Be careful of Recruitment Scams: Fraudsters or employment scammers often pose as legitimate recruiters, employers, recruitment consultants or job placement firms, advertising false job opportunities through email, text messages and WhatsApp messages. They aim to cheat jobseekers out of money or to steal personal information.
To help you look out for potential recruitment scams, here are some Red Flags:
- Upfront Payment Requests: Deloitte will never ask for any upfront payment for background checks, job training, or supplies.
- Requests for Personal Information: Be wary if you are asked for sensitive personal information, especially early in the recruitment process and without a clear need for it. Fraudulent links or contractual documents may require the provision of sensitive personal data or copy documents (e.g., government issued numbers or identity documents, passports or passport numbers, bank account statements or numbers, parent’s data) that may be used for identity fraud. Do not provide or send any of these documents or data. Please note we will never ask for photographs at any stage of the recruitment process.
- Unprofessional Communication: Scammers may communicate in an unprofessional manner. Their messages may be filled with poor grammar and spelling errors. The look and feel may not be consistent with the Deloitte corporate brand.
