Position Summary
We are seeking a legal intern to join our Capital Markets practice. The ideal candidate is a law student with strong academic credentials and an aptitude for navigating the complex, fast-evolving regulatory landscape. You should be pragmatic, a quick learner, and able to support our lawyers on cross-border transactions.
The internship is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

As a legal intern in our practice, you will be working in an exciting working environment, handling challenging, time-sensitive deals that demand a dynamic approach and a resilience of character.
Duties and Accountabilities
- Assisting with due diligence by reviewing corporate documents, financial statements, and compliance records
- Supporting the drafting and proofreading of prospectuses and other disclosure documents
- Conducting legal research on listing rules, securities regulations, and relevant case law
- Coordinating with clients, auditors, and other professional parties to gather required information
- Preparing checklists and tracking progress of IPO-related tasks
- Translating and proofreading documents and correspondence
- Handle ad hoc assignments
Qualifications
- Law student from a top China law school
- Prior internship experience in ECM strongly preferred
- Native Mandarin and fluent English is essential
- Computer literacy
- Good communication skills
- Client service focus
- Team player
