People & Culture Business Partner

About the Role
We are seeking a People and Culture Business Partner to work closely with the Customer Success team in supporting both clients and team members across a broad range of HR functions. This role will serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned team members, providing guidance on people practices, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive employee experience while partnering with clients and internal stakeholders to support high-performing and engaged teams.

Ideal Profile
- Previous experience in a People & Culture Business Partner or similar HR role
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing capabilities
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting employee engagement, retention, and development initiatives
- Confident working with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee records
Responsibilities
General
- Act as the first point of contact for assigned team members regarding People & Culture queries
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review workloads and identify concerns
- Communicate feedback and identified issues to the Customer Success team
- Participate in client meetings and provide feedback relating to team member engagement and performance
- Maintain and update employee records within BambooHR and other HR systems
- Champion company culture and promote a positive and inclusive working environment
- Support the wider People & Culture team with employee engagement initiatives and events
Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end onboarding support for both clients and team members
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience from contract signing through to commencement
- Coordinate onboarding activities with Customer Success, IT teams, and relevant stakeholders
Learning and Development
- Support team members with learning and development programs, policies, and initiatives
- Ensure all team members have development plans in place and reviewed regularly
- Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) and track completed training
- Assist team members with identifying and achieving learning objectives
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team to implement employee engagement and development initiatives
Remuneration and Benefits
- Manage day-to-day employee benefits administration
- Ensure remuneration and benefits information is accurately maintained within HR systems
Performance Reviews
- Ensure performance reviews are completed in line with company policies
- Support performance improvement processes and follow-up actions
- Partner with clients on retention strategies to support both employees and business outcomes
Other
- Support HR projects and organisational initiatives including diversity & inclusion, leadership development, and change management
- Conduct assessments of organisational culture and employee sentiment
- Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to action plans that enhance employee experience and engagement
