Job Description

1. Vendor Operational Excellence

  • Vendor Education & Training: Lead onboarding and training sessions on POS devices and backend tools, ensuring vendors are fully proficient in foodpanda product features and operational standards.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track key operational metrics (e.g., cancellation rates, stock availability) and collaborate with the Account Management (AM) team to execute improvement plans for underperforming vendors.

  • Content Integrity & Reconciliation: Guarantee accurate product listings by conducting regular onsite spot checks and performing manual inventory reconciliation to ensure the physical store stock matches the foodpanda platform data.

2. Data Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Trend Analysis: Deep-dive into sales and cancellation data to identify failure patterns and propose data-driven solutions to the team.

  • Support Transformation Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out feature enhancements and new initiatives designed to improve operational excellence

  • Technical Operations Support: Serve as the first line of support for the AM team, troubleshooting technical frontend or backend issues.

 

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in Operations, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or E-commerce. Experience working with supermarkets, grocery retailers, or FMCG is a strong plus (fresh grads are welcome to apply!) 

  • Data Proficiency (Crucial): Strong command of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets . Comfortable managing large datasets to manually reconcile vendor inventory against our system.

  • Operational Mindset: A sharp eye for detail. You are the type of person who is bothered when a price tag doesn't match the system and won't stop until it is fixed.

  • Communication & Training: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff (vendors) and effectively collaborate with internal Account Management teams.

  • Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn new backend tools and POS systems, with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently to vendor locations (physical stores/warehouses) for onsite audits, training, and "ground truthing."

  • Problem Solver: Proven ability to analyze trends, identify root causes of operational failures, and propose logical solutions.
