CurifyLabs builds 3D-printing systems for personalised medicine, working with compounding pharmacies to make personalized medication faster, safer and more affordable. We produce a growing range of laboratory instruments, accessories and consumables — including the PharmaPrinter Aurum — for customers in the US and EU, and we are expanding our hardware team to scale production.

The role
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Production Engineer/Technician to join our young, international team. This role combines hands-on production work with process development. You will build, test, and validate PharmaPrinter Aurum systems, accessories, and other products, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery while helping improve our production operations as we scale.

Key responsibilities
• Assemble laboratory instruments and accessories to quality standards, on time.
• Run in-process and final quality control testing with measurement tools and functional tests.
• Keep accurate ISO 13485 records: device history, test logs, traceability and inventory.
• Improve work instructions, tools and the production process
• Conduct incoming-goods inspections, supplier follow-ups and keep the assembly area and inventory organised in the ERP system (we use Netsuite)
• Troubleshoot faulty units, and help build and test mechanical and mechatronics components, taking on more ownership over time.

What we look for
• Strong attention to detail — these are laboratory devices under ISO 13485
• Comfortable doing hands-on mechanical assembly with precision and high quality
• Confident with hand tools, measurement tools and reading engineering documentation
• Basic experience on some 3d cad system for 3d printing
• Proactive and flexible; startup experience is a bonus.
• Fluent English; basic communication in Finnish is a bonus.
• Role is on-site at Salmisaari, Helsinki. Occasional remote work is possible, but the role requires daily on-site presence.
• Degree (done or in progress) in suitable mechanical, mechatronics or production engineering area or similar.
• 0–3 years of experience in industrial production/assembly environment including internships or thesis work; recent graduates welcome.
• 3D-printing and electronics experience a plus

What we offer
A startup environment with low hierarchy, high independence and real ownership of your work, building laboratory products that improve patient safety at lower cost. Benefits including occupational health care, accident insurance, modern tools, recreational events, snacks and inspiring office in Salmisaari, Helsinki. CurifyLabs is an equal-opportunity employer. Working in a fast-growing startup means you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow your skills and expand your responsibilities.
