Position Summary: Temporary, part-time adjunct faculty in the Department of History. Online teaching opportunities may be available in the Department of History. Candidates must be available to teach face-to-face, not remotely. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in history or a Master’s Degree with at least 18 credits of graduate history course work. Commitment to quality instruction at the college level is essential. Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in history. Past record of successful college-level teaching experience in history. For online teaching, one or more semesters’ worth of online teaching experience. Experience using the Canvas platform and with courses that have received Quality Matters approval is advantageous.
