What you’ll do:
Job Summary
The AC POD Product Manager will drive the commonality definition, BU/Division alignment, and competitive positioning of Eaton's IEC version Power of Distribution (POD) reference design across the APAC commercial zone. Working as a peer to the AC POD DSX Modeling Specialist and AC POD Integration Specialist within the APAC Architecture team, this role will partner closely with ANZ, EA, PDSS, and CPS to align and sync POD commonality, support differentiated design reviews, and enable scalable deployment built on core common design, faster delivery, and lower cost — supporting current 10kV AC → 400V AC and future 22/11kV AC → 800V DC topologies.
Job Responsibilities
- Cross-BU Commonality – Work closely with ANZ, EA, PDSS, and CPS to align and sync the commonality of POD and support differentiated design reviews across regional variants.
- Common Module Customization & BU Alignment – Drive common module customization and secure alignment with relevant BUs / Divisions on scope, specifications, and release cadence.
- Module Competitiveness – Develop and maintain common module competitiveness with GPL / BU support, benchmarking cost, lead time, and performance against competitors.
- POD Product Definition – Maintain the APAC IEC POD product definition aligned with NVIDIA DSX Block 2 deployment requirements and Eaton's MV-to-rack reference architecture (10kV AC → 400V AC today; 22/11kV AC → 800V DC future).
- Customer Technical Engagement – Support key Hyperscale and MTDC customer engagements (Firmus, NextDC, DayOne, etc.) who want IEC design, contributing to IEC version requirement reviews and design optimization workshops.
- Sales Enablement – Partner with Regional KAM, BDM, and AE to engage customers, define project scope, and convert opportunities into standardized POD deployments.
- Peer Collaboration – Collaborate closely within the regional solution architecture team to ensure product definition, reference design, and supplier integration strategy stay synchronized.
- JV & Segment Coordination – Coordinate with Yineng JV, Transformer JV, CPC, and Segment teams to ensure POD scope, interface alignment, and go-to-market are integrated end-to-end.
- Lifecycle Support – Support PLM milestones, design change tracking, and post-launch performance monitoring (win rate, margin, lead time).

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in power distribution, data center power solutions, or modular/prefabricated power product management / marketing.
- Working knowledge of IEC standards (IEC 61439, IEC 62271, IEC 60364) and hyperscale data center power topologies (MV → LV → UPS → rack).
- Commercial acumen in cost engineering, competitive benchmarking, and value-proposition framing for hyperscale / MTDC customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to NVIDIA DSX, OCP, or Open19 reference architectures.
- Experience with prefabricated modular data center (PMDC) or skid-based power solutions.
- Familiarity with 800V DC architectures and liquid cooling integration.
- Experience working with APAC hyperscalers (Firmus, NextDC, DayOne) or global hyperscalers' APAC deployments.
- Pragmatic Marketing or equivalent product management certification a plus."
Softskills
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across BUs, regional sales, sourcing, and JV partners in a matrixed APAC environment.
