Radiology Technician

This position works a variety of shifts, including one weeknight call shift and rotating weekend call shifts. ARRT(R), BLS, 3+ years' experience preferred but not required. Able to work independently and as a team. 3. X-ray, portable X-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm operation. NICU to ICU, outpatient, inpatient, and emergent. Verifies physician orders and procedures to assure accuracy, and independently operates equipment to complete imaging studies according to protocol. Produces high-quality radiographic images while practicing ALARA. Reviews images for quality and completeness in accordance with standard operating procedures and the provider’s order. Assists in facilitating departmental operations (e.g., wiping down equipment, stocking rooms, assessing the next-day schedule) Tuesday 0800-1630, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1330-2200. On-call Tuesdays 1630-0700 and every fourth weekend or so. Typically assigned to work 2 holidays a year
