Instructional Assistant position available at Spring-Ford Area School District's10-12th Grade Center
Are you looking to make a difference in the life of a child? Come join our team of dedicated educators and help support their instruction by assisting students with remedial work, independent studies, specialized areas of need and/or enrichment programs.

Two Full Time 10-month positions are available at Spring-Ford's Senior High School. These positions are job coaches working with students in the field and school settings.
- Experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not required.
- Must meet the Paraprofessional Highly Qualified Requirements: All individuals entering the paraprofessional field are required to be Highly Qualified. Individuals are required to hold an Associate's degree or higher, or have earned at least 48 credits post-secondary training or have passed a rigorous local assessment in reading, writing and mathematics.
- Must be able to use own transportation to travel to job sites.

Spring-Ford Area School District offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance, as well as paid time off and a tuition reimbursement program. Pathways to becoming a special education teacher are available through a partnership with Point Park University for the ABCTE program. This position is part of the PSERS retirement system.
Hourly Rate: $20.50/hour
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Days/Year: 185
