Operator Trainee

Summary: Works under the direction of the Area Superintendent or designee (Trainer, Specialist, Unit Leader, etc.) to operate the units in a safe manner and to control all operating variables in such a manner to keep product specifications in their proper range. The expectation of this role is to strive towards becoming qualified as a field operator. In doing so, the individual will work with the Trainer, Specialist, and Operations team for the assigned area to learn the units and become proficient as they strive to become qualified as a field operator. Once qualified, the person will be assigned to cover shifts as needed and perform as a field operator. When not covering an assigned shift, the individual should continue to learn/improve their knowledge as a field operator, complete tasks assigned by the Area Superintendent or designee (Trainer, Specialist, Unit Leader, etc.), and work towards console operator qualification.
