Central Billing Office – Requisition #2584

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing, submitting and tracking initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications to insurance payers
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of provider applications, ensuring that all required documents are submitted
  • Conduct thorough license verifications, and references to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date, secure and accurate provider files
  • Monitor expiring licenses and credentials
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and requirements, ensuring compliance at all times
  • Update CAQH with demographic changes along with monitoring Medical Licenses, DEA Certificates and Board Certification to ensure no lapse in coverage/participation

Requirements & Skills

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience in a medical office is preferred
  • Previous credentialing experience preferred 
  • Knowledge of credentialing standards, payer enrollment processes and regulatory requirements preferred 
  • Experience with provider database or electronic health record systems preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately 

Employment Details

  • Full-Time
  • Monday- Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Benefits Eligible
