As a Security Officer Entry Point Monitor in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access points, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this access control role, you will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Monitor gates, doors, badges, visitor logs, and/or vehicle access points to help support authorized access and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Communicate with site contacts, dispatch, and/or emergency responders when appropriate, while maintaining accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
