Job Description
As a Security Officer Building Campus in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a calm environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence. This role blends routine patrols with strong customer service and communication, while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach, caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and documenting daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
- Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
- Possess a state, county, or city issued security license, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
