Security Officer Screening Inspector

As a Security Officer Screening Inspector in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. This role blends strong communication and customer service with routine site responsibilities in a fast-moving environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related protocols.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document screening activity, unusual conditions, and/or policy concerns for site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas, dock locations, and perimeter access points as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
