As a Security Officer Mall Center Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the chance to support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, team-focused environment.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the shopping center, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, trespassing, loitering, and/or property damage, and assist with access control, crowd management, and after-hours security-related checks as directed by site procedures.
• Support retail operations by providing directions, assisting with customer inquiries, and coordinating with mall management and/or emergency services during incidents or unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
