LocationHotel 55 - 55 - Banquets Catering, a prominent establishment within the Corporate company, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team.About the opportunityThe Banquets Catering team at Hotel 55 is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to ensure seamless execution of events and banquets.What you'll get to do* Set up and break down banquet rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas, kitchens, and service corridors* Assist with the delivery and setup of food and beverages for events, ensuring timely and efficient service* Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure all events are executed according to plan, and provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests* Perform various tasks as needed to support the banquets team, including polishing silverware, folding napkins, and restocking suppliesSkills and Experience* Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment, preferably in a banquets or catering setting* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time* Familiarity with banquet equipment and supplies, including tables, chairs, linens, and audiovisual equipment* Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support the banquets team
