Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Rover Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas in a busy transportation location, helping to support a secure environment for travelers and staff. In this unarmed patrol role, you will perform routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a transportation environment.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance or access concerns.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry where required, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related issues and/or operational needs.
- Support crowd management, queue observation, and directional assistance during peak travel periods, delays, and other high-traffic conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.
- Customer Service experience is preferred.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
