As a Security Officer Spanish Speaking Patrol in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a prestigious financial institution location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $23.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including interior areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support lobby and restricted-area protocols in accordance with site expectations.
• Assist with monitoring alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when conditions call for additional support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
