As a Security Officer Patrol Route Detail in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support tenants, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with access control procedures, and report maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations at the location by completing assigned reports, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of security-related conditions that may impact tenants, visitors, and/or property operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
