Job Description
As the Clinical Nurse Educator for the Emergency Department, you will lead and support clinical learning for nurses, students, and early-career staff within one of Bendigo Health’s most dynamic and fast-paced clinical environments.
The role is responsible for coordinating and delivering learning and development opportunities within the Emergency Department, while also contributing to broader nursing education initiatives across Bendigo Health and, where appropriate, regional partners. You will provide hands-on clinical support, guidance, and mentoring to undergraduate nursing students, graduate nurses, and new or less experienced staff to build confidence, capability, and safe clinical practice in the emergency setting.
Working collaboratively with nurse leaders, the nursing and midwifery education team, inter-professional colleagues, and external education providers, you will identify learning needs, contribute to education resource development, and support continuous improvement in clinical learning and workforce capability.
As part of a collaborative educator team, you will also flex across services to support other Clinical Nurse Educators as required, contributing to a responsive and team-focused approach to workforce development and education delivery.
