About Our Opportunity 

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Intern to work in our Canada office in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support across all areas of the Sales & Marketing Department.

Responsibilities 

  • Submit quotes/Set up new products within Canadian Tire Platforms (Vendor Gateway/PDX
  • Order/Prepare and ship new item samples to customers including Canadian Tire, Loblaws, Bulk Barn, Red Apple and Northwest
  • Track Canadian Tire orders from point of receipt to shipping
  • Run Monthly sales reports using excel and Pivot Tables
  • Proof-read everyday and seasonal catalogue draft for accuracy
  • Prepare and send monthly POS Updates to Value Channel Chains
  • Maintain and Merchandise Showroom space and organize samples
  • Prepare New Item Quote Sheets as specified and required by customers.
  • Support National Accounts Manager for National Accounts; Canadian Tire, Loblaws, Bulk Barn, Red Apple and Northwest.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment and office administrative procedures. 
  • Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel Knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Detail and Goal-Oriented with strong Time Management skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Post-secondary education and/or a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training required.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
