We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter for our Weekend shift team. In this role, you will prepare, apply, and inspect powder coat finishes on metal components to ensure high-quality, durable results that meet customer specifications. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter for our Weekend shift team. Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Range: $20.00-28.00 per hour (Starting rate commensurate with experience)
- Shift: Weekend Shift- Friday-Sunday | 6:00A-6:30P | 3-Day Work Week

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for coating, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and racking.
- Apply powder coating using manual and/or automated spray systems.
- Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality to meet specifications.
- Perform color changes and maintain proper powder inventory control.
- Operate curing ovens and verify proper cure times and temperatures.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and perform touch-ups as needed.
- Maintain powder coating equipment and work area in a clean, organized condition.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of materials.
Qualifications
- Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move parts as required. (60 lbs.)
- A "keen eye" for detail and a results-driven approach.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- The ability to work independently while supervising automated machine cycles.
