Job Description
Position: Axle Design Engineer (T9);
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production;
Experience: Min. 4 years in automotive axle design;
Responsibilities:
Design rear axle forged and cast housings considering functional, durability, and manufacturing requirements.
Design axles housings for trucks and buses.
Collaborate with cross functional teams & develop axle components with suppliers.
Support in design of other axle components like final drive components, support brackets & wheel hub.
Skills:
Expertise in rear axle design, GD&T, drawing specifications.
Basic knowledge of axle and transmission components.
Strong NX design skill & experience cast components is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in casting and forging will be an added advantage.
