Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Green Bay to organize the flow of information within the payroll department and complete tasks related to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of associate pay. The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with other team members to eliminate payroll errors and rework.
Responsibilities:
- Support the payroll team through researching associate information, processing mail, running reports and filing documentation.
- Answer questions and respond to requests via phone calls, emails and direct messages.
- Handle inquiries related to garnishments and process refunds.
- Prepare and file tax reports and load tax notices into tracking tools.
- Perform tasks that support accurate timecard processing.
Skills and qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools.
