About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Lead a coherent, P–12 approach to student wellbeing, engagement, and formation aligned with the Notre Dame Way and Marist tradition
- Drive implementation of the Notre Dame Formation Plan and embed the Education Strategy within wellbeing and pastoral frameworks
- Build a safe, inclusive, faith-filled culture where every student is known, valued, and supported to flourish
- Provide strategic leadership using wellbeing, attendance, behaviour, and engagement data to inform improvement
- Develop staff capacity in evidence-informed wellbeing practices (e.g. trauma-informed, restorative, PB4L)
- Oversee key systems including student support, case management, behaviour, attendance, and engagement initiatives

Foster strong partnerships with staff, students, families, and agencies while line managing Pastoral Middle Leaders
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
- Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
