Maintenance Director - * New Ownership *
Position Overview: As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for helping the ensure a safe working environment in the nursing home. You will assist with various maintenance and routine repairs and related tasks as directed by facility leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing a preventive maintenance program.
- Repair facility/resident property as necessary. In the event of inability to repair, coordinate with outside vendors to make repairs or replace property as cost effectively as possible. Also, ensure that services provided by the outside vendors are properly completed/supervised in accordance with contracts/work orders.
- Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and etc. to assure control of equipment and supplies.
- The job involves, lifting, walking, and manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school Diploma
- Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, and generators.
- Mechanically inclined with experience in plumbing and electrical systems.
- Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work with family members, residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
- Knowledge of IDPH and State Regulations.
