Sanitation Associate

Position Summary

The Sanitation Associate plays a mission-critical role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and production-ready facility. This role is responsible for executing daily sanitation activities that protect product quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and support uninterrupted operations. Simply put: no sanitation, no production—this role directly impacts our ability to deliver for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly, and periodic sanitation procedures for production equipment, workspaces, and common areas in accordance with established SOPs.

• Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, drains, and production surfaces using approved chemicals and tools.

• Safely handle, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals following all safety guidelines and training.

• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for thorough cleaning.

• Complete required documentation accurately and in real time to support food safety, quality, and audit readiness.

• Identify and escalate sanitation, safety, or equipment concerns to leadership proactively—see something, say something.

• Maintain compliance with all GMPs, food safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve sanitation efficiency and effectiveness.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure operational alignment.
