Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday. May require weekend work as needed.

Job Profile Summary
This role focuses on performing activities associated with evaluating, developing, recommending, implementing, and carrying out the policies and procedures related to the delivery of high quality patient care. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Customer Service duties: Guides the patient through the healthcare system and works to overcome obstacles that are in the way of the patient receiving the care and treatment they require. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. An experienced level role that applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Works independently with general supervision, problems faced are difficult but typically not complex, and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
Job Overview
The Clinical Access Partner (CAP) will serve as the technical subject matter expert on template design strategy and will educate departments, clinicians, and other stakeholders on how to optimize provider and resource templates. The CAP will provide consultative support to operations on template and decision tree implementation and configuration. They will enable patients to schedule online.
The CAP will partner with Contact Center Access Strategists, clinicians, IT, and other stakeholders to analyze, design, and deploy scheduling solutions. This role leverages dashboards and other data sources to communicate recommendations to clinical teams that improve access to care, enhance provider productivity, and eliminate waste.
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Four (4) years of experience with Epic scheduling and/or template management
3. Epic Cadence Certification obtained within two (2) years of hire
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
1. Serves as the subject matter expert resource for departments, clinicians and others on best practices for decision tree and template design
2. Develops guidelines for templates and decision tree structures that are aligned with enterprise goals for enhancing access to care, provider productivity, and waste elimination
3. Teaches clinicians and other key stakeholders these guidelines and coach where appropriate on the adoption of best practices
4. Recommends intervention actions when guidelines are not being met
5. Creates and enacts improvements based upon schedule utilization, provider utilization, and other relevant reports
6. Provides consultative support on business requirements for new deployments of Decision Trees and online scheduling initiatives.
7. Reviews and prioritizes new functionality with Access Center Strategist
8. Maximizes provider utilization, by recommending template strategies and processes to meet forecasted demand, and to ensure appointment slots do not go unused.
9. Develops and leads decision tree road map for limiting visit types, scheduling complexity, and high maintenance costs
Physical Requirements:
1. Professional office environment with typical office requirements such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
2. This is largely a sedentary role, which involves sitting most of the time, but may involve movements such as walking, standing, reaching, ascending / descending stairs, and operate office equipment.
3. Frequently required to speak, hear, communicate, and exchange information.
4. Able to see and read computer displays, read fine print, and/or normal type size print and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
5. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range:
$101,084.26 - $128,878.21
