Job Description
These roles are responsible for operating imaging equipment like X-rays and MRIs, ensuring that accurate images are captured for diagnostic purposes.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards across the various divisions / modalities of Radiology. Leads departmental efforts with Friday Before Five rounds.
• Manages and coordinates the multiple and various accreditation (ACR, MQSA, etc.) processes across the department.
• Investigates Be Safe reports and leads efforts develop opportunities for improvement and problem resolution.
• Provides effective leadership to quality improvement teams / work groups and a wide variety of clinical operational teams.
• Models effective communication and collaboration skills / behaviors.
• Takes action to achieve measurable results.
• Supports innovation and organizational change to improve effectiveness.
• Develops talent and coaches peers and others to develop their capabilities.
• Manages within approved budget.
• Applies knowledge of functional areas to effectively manage operations.
• Holds staff accountable for meeting external and/or internal customer needs.
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience: 3 years progressively more responsible experience required
Licensure: License / Certification in at least one clinical modality (i.e. X-ray, Sonography, MRI, CT, Nuc Med)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The starting base rate for this role is $106,974.40 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
