Lead Unit Processor

$13.00 Hourly Rate

Job Summary:

The Lead Processor assists the Warehouse Manager or Store Manager with sorting textiles and discarding unusable items by monitoring the work flow of other sorters.

Essential Functions:

• Evaluates and separates usable pre-sorted textiles from donations and places in appropriate location or receptacle.
• Provides additional coverage in the pre-sorting area by separating items into categories as defined by the supervisor.
• Assists in tagging, pricing, and preparing store shipments.
• Sorts and prices wares as assigned.
• Keeps work area neat and organized.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to visually determine flaws in textiles to be sorted.
• Performs all other duties assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to pass pre-hire screenings such as background or drug screenings.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to fifty (50) lbs, with or without assistance.
