This position reports to the Sr. Production Supervisor and is part of the Manufacturing Operation, located in Pune and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Housing and skid assembly: Performs assembly, inspection, and testing of housing and skids, ensuring optimal OEE of tools and machines. Supports in-house assembly and final packing to meet production schedules.
- Quality Compliance: Conducts in-process and final inspections in collaboration with the quality team to maintain product standards and prevent defects.
- DBS & Lean Compliance: Follows Standard Work, KANBAN, and 5S principles to reduce waste and improve productivity. Provides feedback and lessons learned from the shop floor for continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- EHS Compliance: Handles material movement, loading/unloading, and testing with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- On-Time Performance: Ensures uninterrupted workflow through efficient material handling and movement, supporting timely completion of production schedules.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinates closely with supermarket, quality, and production supervisors to maintain smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
The essential requirements of the job include
- Diploma in Mechanical with min 7-9 yrs of relevant experience
- Experience of Engraving and Etching of Housing
- Experience of Assembly and Fabrication work
- Experience of Factory acceptance testing
- Experience for integrity testing
