The VP Product Management AI will own our new AI services and the vision and direction of Redis for agentic apps and AI builders. This role will need to manage the rapid evolution and growth of the AI market, and be excited to iterate at entrepreneurial speed.
This is a highly visible role, and will have significant impact driving both our inbound product strategy and our outbound go-to-market motions. The VP Product Management AI will work with your team to define a customer-focused roadmap of features and customer experience, business goals, reporting processes, and define new products to capture market opportunity. You will serve as an evangelist for Redis’ AI business, developing portfolio strategy, GTM collateral, and working directly with customers on their AI journey.
What you’ll do:
Market Research & Product Positioning: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape and ecosystem integration opportunities.
Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor and inform the organization about the competitive landscape while also developing strategies to maintain the competitive edge.
Revenue Growth, Metrics, and Performance Tracking: Be accountable for the product's financial performance and growth, including setting revenue targets and strategies to achieve them.
Product Life Cycle Management: Manage the entire product life cycle, from inception to retirement, making decisions about enhancements, feature prioritization, ecosystem integrations, and end-of-life planning, pricing, naming, and positioning..
Support Product Launches and Sales Enablement Activities: Work with our product marketing team to plan and execute product launches, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders from pre-sales to post-sales are aligned and ready for the launch.
Outbound Product Management: You will work with marketing to define and drive initiatives to grow Redis’ usage in AI workloads, both in enterprises and start-ups, and awareness in AI communities
Evangelist for Redis in the AI stack: You will work directly with field teams and customers as a champion on how Redis is a critical part of the AI stack.
Champion AI-first product development: You will be a change-agent in scaling the use of AI-enabled development and fast product iteration cycles across the organizations used for agentic apps.
What will you need to have?
Strong product management and leadership experience especially in enterprise B2B SaaS space.
Proven track record of launching successful products to market and turning them into growing businesses.
Experience in AI, ML, , database, data infrastructure products, and open-source technologies, data infra products is a plus but not required.
Someone with demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports.
A person with strong cross-functional collaboration skills who can work closely with various teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product's lifecycle.
A pragmatic thinker who combines proficiency in data analysis and using metrics to drive decision-making with the ability to understand the big picture and establish how to anticipate and plan for the long term.
Strong GTM skillset with experience building and scaling outbound strategy and enablement across field organizations
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Constantly driven to explore, learn, summarize, and share new insights.
A person with a collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Possess strong opinions, loosely held. Humble enough to know there is always more to learn.

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $265,000– $400,000 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
