Job Description

Acadian Client Services is seeking a motivated, highly organized individual for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle in Lafayette, LA.

 

JOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant will work within and support the billing office management team at Acadian. This position will support, oversee and manage all projects and tasks assigned by the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle and requires a high level of attention to detail. 

 

JOB LOCATION: Lafayette, LA - This position is based in the office. Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 

 

REPORTS TO:  Sr.  Director of Revenue Cycle

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars, including ACS department calendar
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, including room setup and catering 
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Ensure organization of and completion of monthly action plans; ensure managers meet their deadlines
  • Create communications, such as memos, emails, birthday/anniversary announcements, meeting presentations, and instructional documents, including ACS-wide documents
  • Generate reports for management team personnel 
  • Analyze, log, and track monthly expenses and departmental budget 
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and conference registrations 
  • Maintain updated department policies and job descriptions 
  • Event Coordinator: Facilitate multiple department meetings / events 
  • Manage department staffing roster 
  • Review and validate managers timesheets and temp staffing invoices
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director of Revenue Cycle

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Maintains highest level of confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent comprehension skills and decision-making ability 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to accept challenges
  • Ability to work collaboratively with billing office and other department leadership
  • Must be proficient in Windows applications, Microsoft Office, Visio, Abode. Equivalent platforms such as Google are also acceptable 
  • Professional work ethic and dress code; strong history of punctuality
