Job Summary:

 

The Identity and Access Management team, within the Global Cybersecurity (GCS) organization, is looking for a dynamic technical leader to drive strategic initiatives in support of a multi-year transformation. The Senior Solutions Engineer, Cybersecurity will provide technical, cybersecurity and thought leadership across multiple technical domains with a focus on designing and enabling capabilities within the Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) practice areas. These teams are undergoing modernization transformation journeys with a focus on enabling SaaS solutions, enforcing security for enterprise AI agents and leveraging AI to accelerate development and quickly respond to threats. The candidate will act as mentor, ensuring effective resiliency practices and promoting engineering excellence.

 

About the job:

  • Achieve strategic outcomes by providing thought leadership, deep technical knowledge, broad domain expertise and expert engineering discipline.
  • Achieve engineering excellence through technical coaching and mentoring, incorporating HPE (High Performance Engineering) and other best practices such as well Architected framework, threat modelling and risk impact assessments.
  • Partner with aligned architects and influence architectural designs, architectural decision records (ADRs), proofs of value (POVs) and proofs of concept (POCs).
  • Drive adoption of architecture standards to promote operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency and cost optimization into operating norms.
  • Lead the design and enforcement of the delivery pipeline and adherence to development standards.
  • Partner with the Cloud Forge community, ensuring alignment company and industry trends and best practices.
  • Partner with Identity Management/IGA Senior Solutions Engineer, Cybersecurity to align engineering practices across all of IAM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years working in progressively senior Information Technology roles.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Cybersecurity experience, preferably with a focus in Identify & Access Management.
  • Deep subject matter expertise with Authentication and Authorization (AuthN/Z), MFA and Single Sign ON (SSO) capabilities and services.
  • Minimum of five years working with Privileged Access Management capabilities and servicesy.
  • Extensive experience in software engineering languages and tools.
  • In depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles.
  • Proficiency in product and system components of technical architecture.
  • Strong influencing and consensus building skills, and the adaptability to respond to change quickly.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization with diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven experience with agile practices and expectations.
  • CISSP or CISM preferred.
