SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST ASHEVILLE REGION

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for aggressively growing our property owner base through qualifying leads, marketing and selling Cliffs’ Lifestyle. You will receive a bonus for the sales that are generated from your database of existing leads and new leads that you receive. Your primary focus will be to book tours for the Sales Executive within that region. If a tour can readily be booked during this process, you will be able to book the tour and transfer the prospect to the appropriate Sales Office. The Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in introducing prospects to the Cliffs and inviting them to visit and tour. 

 

 

JOB DUTIES:

 

  • Proactively qualify leads through sales presentations via phone, e-mail, and written correspondence.
  • Build professional relationships and follow-up with prospective clients while striving to meet sales’ goals.
  • After ensuring that prospects understand and desire to experience the Cliffs lifestyle, introduce them to a Sales Executive within the Walnut Cove Region
  • Book property tours for your prospects if a tour can be readily booked during the process described above. If the tour cannot be booked once the appropriate region is identified, the prospect should be immediately introduced to a Discovery Associate. 
  • Provide appropriate Cliffs information for your prospects.
  • Develop and strategize market action plans.
  • Study and develop proper product knowledge and sales techniques as required to obtain maximum sales efficiency within legal, ethical, and moral standards. 
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers.
  • Possess the ability to professionally discuss client’s financial background and history during the qualification process.
  • Manage and track assigned database contacts daily.
  • Provide The Cliffs with an accurate weekly sales activity report and ensure clear communication. 
  • Follow company policies, procedures, rules, and regulatory requirements.
     



BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Two to four years minimum professional sales experience and/or proven track. record selling upscale hotel/resort properties (minimum 2 years highly preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • NC real estate license required.
  • Must convey a professional appearance and telephone manner.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be sales and goal oriented.
  • Proven experience with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to produce consistent results.
