Product Marketing Lead, Ecommerce & Growth
Job Description
About Brick...
Brick is transforming how people interact with technology—helping people minimize distractions, reclaim focus, and live more intentionally. Our physical device and companion app turn smartphones from sources of distraction into tools for presence and productivity.
We’re on a mission to help people take back control of their time and attention so they can focus on what matters most—and we’re building a team of thoughtful, driven people to make that happen.
We’re hiring a Product Marketing Lead to own and evolve how we bring our product to market and how customers experience it across our revenue-driving surfaces. This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, and brand—combining product thinking, conversion optimization, and go-to-market strategy to build a cohesive, high-performing customer experience.
Job Summary / About the Role:
As our Product Marketing Lead, Ecommerce & Growth, reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will own how our products are brought to market—defining messaging, shaping positioning, and driving go-to-market execution across our Ecommerce + Omnichannel marketing experiences.
Operating at the intersection of Product, Design, Growth, and Merchandising, you’ll build and own our product marketing function from the ground up—translating new hardware/software products and new features into compelling customer-facing narratives and ensuring every launch, campaign, and onsite experience is clear, cohesive, and conversion-driven. You’ll play a critical role in scaling our growth by combining structured research, strong product intuition, and hands-on execution to improve how we communicate value across the full customer journey.
Location:
Brick is based in Chicago, and we’re prioritizing candidates who are local or open to relocating. This role requires regular in-person collaboration with the team in Chicago. As a key cross-functional partner, this individual will help shape how we build, ship, and scale our Ecommerce experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the connective layer across Product, Design, and Marketing, driving alignment and execution across all marketing channels
- Define and evolve product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across our Ecommerce experience and marketing channels
- Translate Physical device and App product features into clear, compelling customers narratives that drive revenue and engagement
- Own the end to end Go To Marketing planning for product launches, campaigns, and site updates–ensuring alignment across Product, Design, Growth, and Merchandising
- Translate Go to market plans into high performing onsite experience, partnering closely with Product and Design to ensure effective execution
- Continuously improve messaging across landing pages, product pages, and key funnel touchpoints to increase conversion, AOV, and revenue
- Partner with Growth Creative and Performance Marketing teams to ensure strong message match across acquisition channels and onsite experience
- Partner with Product and leadership to define and iterate on pricing, bundling, and discounting strategies and analyze performance to optimize for revenue and customer perception
- Define and execute go to market strategy for geographic expansion initiatives, including positioning, messaging, and launch planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Identify and address market-specific customers needs, behaviors, and conversion barriers and translate that into actionable improvements
- Establish and run our marketing consumer insights function. Design qualitative and quantitative research methods (user interviews, usability testing, session analysis, surveys) to continuously uncover customers needs, friction points, and opportunities
- Synthesize insights into clear recommendations that inform product, design, and marketing decisions
- Build and operationalize a repeatable go to market process, including workflows, timelines, tooling, and cross-functional coordination
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 2-4+ years of work experience in a product marketing, growth, product, or related role (start-up experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to own work end-to-end, from strategy through execution and analysis
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Experience working on E-commerce or consumer products
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Design, Growth)
The base salary range for this role is $125,000–$165,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
